Features
Zip cord is a flexible electrical cable used to connect small, portable appliances to a power source, usually via a wall socket. Also known as lamp cord, it has two conductors enclosed in an insulating jacket that are bonded together with a valley between them, so the wires can be pulled or “zipped” apart for quick separation. It is commonly used in residential and repair shop settings to fix or replace damaged cord in floor lamps, table lamps, clocks, radios, and other low-current applications. It does not include plugs on the ends of the cord.
