Rosco Flamex PA – Latex Paint Additive 8oz
Roscoflamex PA is a clear, un-pigmented additive for creating a flame retardant paint layer. Add one full jar of Roscoflamex PA to a US gallon (3.79L) of water based paint to make your paint coating flame retardant. Roscoflamex PA is compatible in most latex or vinyl acrylic paints but always test with your specific paint choice. Do not use Roscoflamex PA with metallic paints as the metal pigments may react and tarnish or corrode. Roscoflamex PA does NOT alter the flammability of the substrate being painted but only adds a retardant treatment that slows the spread of fire along the surface. -

Rosco Flamex SF – Synthetic Fiber – 1 Gallon
Treating synthetic fabrics can be difficult since the synthetic threads of the fabric do not absorb liquids in the same manner that a natural fiber does. Roscoflamex SF is designed to be a penetrating treatment that bonds to the surface of the threads deep within the weave of the material, securing the flame retardant chemicals and rendering an effective protective treatment. Roscoflamex SF will treat many synthetic fabrics, such as polyesters, nylons, acrylics and rayons, as well as most cotton/synthetic blends. A vast range of synthetic fabrics are used in scenery properties and costumer construction. While Roscoflamex SF will work with many of these, always test a sample to insure compatibility and effectiveness. Leaving no residue or powdery build up, Roscoflamex SF simplifies the task of insuring all your softgoods and scenic fabrics will meet the Fire Marshall's expectations.
